TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW) -- Volunteers continue to sweat with the goal of finishing up the largest Topeka habitat home.

Fast Forward volunteers gathered at the Habitat for Humanity home site at 1717 SW Sieben where work is just months away from being finished.

Today volunteers were hard at work adding paint to the home, giving up their time to help others.

Angel Romero, a volunteer, said, "I am helping Fast Forward with painting our Habitat for Humanity build that we are assisting other organizations with but I'm here today because we are always looking for opportunities to volunteer and help our members give back to Topeka, so that's what we're doing here today."

The home is scheduled to be complete sometime in November and will be the new home for the Mungunga family of 8.
