Visitors Get Fit At Grantfest

TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW)-Festivities are already underway this Labor Day weekend for Grantfest.

Vendor booths opened for visitors at 10 Saturday morning at Brown v. Board of Education National Historic Site and Cushinberry Park in the area of S.E. 15th and Monroe.

Safe Kids of Shawnee County were in attendance and allowed the children to participate in a bike rodeo. Kids sized and fit their heads for different helmets and learned the importance of safety.

Others tested their physical ability by making moves and bouncing drum sticks on bouncy balls while an instructor led the routine.

The event continues Saturday night with a Gospelfest at 8.
