TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW) - Property owners in the Capital City are cleaning up after vandals struck numerous business and vehicles over the weekend.

The Topeka Police Department has seen between 25 and 30 reports of vandalism since Friday night, including two reports Monday morning of car windows vandalized in the 3300-block of Skyline and in the 5100-block of 33rd Street.

Police say the suspects might have used a BB or pellet gun. It is not clear if the incidents are connected to the same suspects.

Damage to vehicles, including shattered car windows, windshields and rear view mirrors were reported mostly on the west side of the city.

The Up in Smoke store and Classy Kids store on Northeast Sardou reported windows shot out, along with the Payless shoe store on Wanamaker.

Police are asking anyone with information to contact detectives at 368-9400 or Crime Stoppers at 234-0007.
