They always say that the best drivers are defensive drivers. Top[eka drivers have the opportunity to learn how to become smarter on the road.
On Saturday, November 3rd, the Topeka Police Department will hold the National Safety Council Defensive Driving course at the Law Enforcement Center located at 320 S. Kansas Avenue.
The course teaches drivers techniques to avoid a crash and to choose safe, responsible and lawful driving behaviors.
The event is open to everyone with a driver's license or permit, so that means teen drivers are welcome too.
The class starts at 8 a.m. and will last six hours. The price for this course is $15.
