TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW) - Small businesses got the call Friday to "live united."
United Way campaign ambassadors worked the phones for their "Small Business Blitz." The fundraising effort is aimed at getting businesses to give for the first time or to renew their commitment if they've been unable to give in recent years.
Topeka's CoreFirst Bank is matching up to $5,000 in donations given through the small business initiative.
