Two Former KU Officials Set Pleas In Ticket Case

(AP) - Change of plea hearings for two people accused in a KU ticket scandal are set for next week.

Former systems analyst Kassie Liebsch will be in court January 13th, while former assistant athletic director Rodney Jones will appear the next day. Both apparently struck deals with prosecutors.

Tom Blubaugh; his wife, Charlette Blubaugh; and Ben Kirtland all have trials set for next month.

Brandon Simmons and Jason Jeffries already pleaded guilty to not reporting the scheme. They'll be sentenced in March.

Prosecutors say the group conspired to steal more than $2 million in tickets to KU sporting events.
