Two Injured Following Motorcycle Wreck

TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW) - Two people riding a motorcycle were taken to the hospital after colliding with a SUV Wednesday evening.

Emergency crews were called just before 7:00 p.m. to NE Center and NE Forest on reports of the accident.

Officials tell 13 News the driver of the motorcycle lost control of the bike and slid into a Ford Escape. Witnesses say either the male driver or female passenger was run over by the SUV.

Authorities say the bike is not street legal, and are unsure if either of the riders were wearing helmets.
