SILVER LAKE, Kan. (WIBW) - A multi-county car chase led to the arrests of two people Wednesday evening.
Kansas Highway Patrol troopers and Shawnee County Sheriff's deputies assisted in the chase that began in Pottawatomie County, then made its way into Shawnee County, ending in Silver Lake.
Shawnee County Sheriff Herman Jones tells 13 News officers used stop sticks in St. Marys which caused a flat tire, and used them again in Silver Lake, ending the chase at E. Railroad St. and NW Hoch Rd.
Arrested were Jason Lee Gillispie, 30 and Ashley L Gillispie, 28, who was wanted on warrants from Missouri.
