Two Arrested After Fleeing Police In Holton

Deputies now have two behind bars after the suspects fleed officers and led them on a short chase. The pursuit ended near 6th and Idaho in Holton.

Arrested at the scene were 45 year old Angela Brown of Topeka and 34 year old Daniel Smith of Maple Hill.

Smith was booked into Jackson County Jail for felony possession of marijuanna, fleeing and attempting to elude police...criminal possession of a weapon and driving on a suspended license.

Brown was also booked for felony possession of marijuanna. Police say a Jackson County Sheriff's K-9 was also used in the incident. Bond is currently pending.
