Trial Delayed In 'Voodoo' Killing

TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW) -- The trial for the suspect in what's described as a voodoo killing is delayed until next year.

James Harris was set to stand trial September 22nd. The proceeding is now set to begin January 5, 2015 in Osage County Court.

Harris pleaded not guilty in March to premeditated first degree murder in the death of 50-year-old James Gerety. Gerety's remains were found in March 2012 near Carbondale.
