TOPEKA, Kan (WIBW)__ Area kids still on winter break had some fun in the fresh blanket of snow.
Kids and parents took to the hills of Quinton Heights to go sledding Tuesday. The parking lot and surrounding streets were packed with cars and people enjoying the winter fun.
Kids could be heard talking about how happy they were to actually have enough snow to sled on and also how glad they were to not be in school.
