TOPEKA, Kan (WIBW)__ A family friendly street fair had roads closed for the walking dead in the downtown NOTO Arts District Saturday.
Topekans came together to celebrate Dia De Los Muertos or Day Of The Dead in english.
Vendors lined historic North Kansas Ave. and Aztec dancers performed for the crowd.
Kids young and old had their faces painted up as skulls and the delicious smells of food filled the air.
Dia De Los Muertos is a Latin American holiday celebrated in Mexico and other parts of the world. The holiday is a time for family and friends to come together and remember those who have died.
