TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW)-- The temperatures may have been a little cool for some of us, but that doesn't stop a group of area children from stretching their legs and having a some fun.

The Topeka Zoo's five day spring break camp kicked off, with this years theme, "In Your Own Backyard."

Campers will explore plants and animals that rely on the backyard to survive.

We caught up with kids playing, "What time is it Mister Fox?"

Campers also will explore the Kansas Prairies, changing seasons and Native American history.

A few spots are left, call 368-9137 too see about attending the rest of the week.
