Topeka Zoo Celebrates World Giraffe Day

TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW)- The Topeka Zoo celebrated an animal with a very long neck and long legs.

It is World Giraffe Day at Topeka Zoo. In honor of the first official day of Summer, the Zoo chose the giraffe to representative the longest day of the year because it is the zoo animal with the longest legs and the longest neck!

Kids were able to feed the giraffes. There was also face painting, craft booths and giraffe enrichment items given to the children.
