TOPEKA, Kan.-- The Topeka Youth Symphony held their spring concert Saturday afternoon.
Three youth ensembles performed at Washburn University's White Concert Hall. The emsembles included the debut orchestra, youth philharmonic and youth orchestra.
Elizabeth Poppe, the first runner up in the 2013- 2014 Topeka Symphony Youth Talent Competition performed with the youth orchestra. The home schooled senior from Riley, Kansas has been playing the violin for 14 years, both as a classical musician and also a fiddler.
