Topeka Woman Arrested Following Pursuit In Jackson County

JACKSON COUNTY, Kan. (WIBW)__A 26 year old Topeka woman is spending time behind bars in Jackson County.

Shortly before 10 p.m. Friday, Jackson County deputies pursued a 2002 Dodge Minivan just south of Holton after determining the vehicle was stolen.

The vehicle failed to stop and continued northbound and eventually stopped near 16 Highway and US Highway 75.

26 year old Sarah Elizabeth Giner of Topeka was arrested at the scene and booked into Jackson County jail for felony possession of stolen property, fleeing and eluding an officer and driving while suspended.
