TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW) -- The Topeka Symphony is presenting music by Bach, Saint-Saens, and Shostakovitch at their concert Saturday, January 18. The performance will feature guest artist, Jon Nakamatsu, who is a Van Cliburn gold medalist. It will be led by the new conductor, Kyle Wiley Pickett.
The concert will be in the White Concert Hall on the Washburn University campus, and it starts at 7:30.
There will also be a free "Concert Conversation" with the conductor at 6:30. Anybody with a ticket to the concert is welcome.
Tickets for the event cost $34, $29, or $24. Full-time students pay half the price.
