TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW) - A teenager shot in an incident that encompassed several locations last week has passed away.
Topeka Police confirm 19-year-old Geovani Plakio died over the weekend.
Police believe he was shot Nov. 8 at SE 7th and Locust, then taken to SE 4th and Lawrence, where he was transferred to another vehicle. Officers stopped that vehicle near 4th and S. Kansas and called an ambulance.
