Two Men Arrested After Topeka Liquor Store Robbery

TOPEKA (WIBW) - Topeka Police arrested two men Friday night, jailed on charges they robbed a local liquor just before 4:00 Friday afternoon.

Officials were called just before 4:00 p.m. to the El Rodeo liquor store in the 1700 block of SE 6th. Police told 13 News that the men entered the store armed with a firearm, demanded money, and took liquor, then ran away

One of them dropped a piece of clothing as they were fleeing from the store.

Investigative work by TPD's Field Operations and CID detectives led them to 20-year old Pierce Ragsdale, and 35-year old Victor Banuelos. They were both booked into the Shawnee County Corrections Department on charges related to the robbery.

No injuries were reported. It's not reported whether the suspects got away with any money.
