Topeka Native Stops By NOTO To Show Off Artwork

TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW)__ A Topeka native was back in town to show off his work during First Friday Artwalk festivities.

Bud Holman was introduced Friday at the Morris Gallery in the NOTO Arts Center.

Holman grew up on a farm north of Topeka and made drawings of homes and buildings in Topeka and other nearby communities as a budding artist.

Holman then moved to New York City where he worked to assemble an art collection for the Chase Manhattan Bank on Wall Street, among other activities.

Holman was honored with a certificate of appreciation during Friday's event.

Holman now lives in Arizona.
