Topeka Man Convicted Of Murder

TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW) -- A 25 year-old man was convicted of stabbing a Topeka woman to death in December 2012, according to Shawnee Co. District Attorney Chad Taylor.

A jury convicted Troy Allen Robinson of 1st Degree Premeditated Murder on Monday after a six-day trial. The Topeka man's sentencing is set for July 28, 2014 at 9:00 a.m.

Robinson was charged with killing Oma "Shannon" Bennett, 43, in her apartment at the Pioneer Adams Townhomes, in the 2100 block of SE Pioneer Way.
