Topeka Man Arrested After Passing Fake $20 Bills

TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW)-Topeka police arrested a man who passed more than $300 worth of fake $20 bills at two bars in Topeka on Saturday.

CJ Online reports that officers arrested twenty year old Darien Fulton of Topeka early Saturday as he was leaving Quinton's bar and grill on SW Huntoon St.

Officers say he used $60 worth of counterfeit twenties at Quintons and $280 in counterfeit twenties at Bullfrogs Live Bar and Grill.

Fulton was charged with felony obstruction, felony possession of opiates and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia.

The investigation remains ongoing and anyone with information is asked to call crime stoppers at 234-000-7
