The Urban Libraries Council announced Topeka and Shawnee County Public Library as one of its 2014 Top Innovators during the Next Libraries Conference in Chicago.
A panel of expert judges selected Topeka and Shawnee County Public Library from more than 180 applicants in the fifth Annual UFC Innovations Initiative.
The initiative highlights a libraries' leadership to create new approaches and practices to meet ever changing needs of the community.
