TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW) -- The Topeka Zoo's littlest tiger seem to be doing well -- and they're not shy about letting their keepers know that.
“They are amazing,” Animal Care Supervisor Shanna Simpson said. “They are so active and playful and very vocal now. All three are chuffing regularly!”
The trio of tiger cubs, who have yet to be named are growing "right on track." They're all over 13 lbs. now and their mommy Jingga is providing all of the care they need. Zoo staff only come in to check on them while mom goes out for her morning stretch.
They are expected to make their public debut around the first week of August.
