TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW) -- The Arab Shriners' colorful clowns were back at it again.
They have made an appearance at Red Robin, promoting the Shrine Circus, handing out stickers, blowing balloons and having a great time. And the fun continued Saturday morning.
Dozens of kids went out to the toy store to meet the bunch of clowns, and parents sighned up to win a family four-pack of tickets to the circus February 22 through February 24 at the Kansas Expocentre.
All circus proceeds go toward the Shrine's 22 childrens hospitals around the nation, Canada and Mexico. The proceeds from the Capital City, however, are all staying in Northeast Kansas.
Public Relations Director Roger Farthing said the events and the public appearances are wonderful for the circus. "This is our biggest fundraiser every year."
Circus tickets are also avaialble at Dillon's, Hy-Vee and the Kansas Expocetnre Box Office
