The Kansas Court Of Appeals Swears In New Judge
TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW)-- The Kansas Court of Appeals has a new judge.
Sedgwick County District Judge Anthony Powell was sworn in this afternoon.
He succeeds Judge Richard Greene, who died in October. Judge Powell was first elected to the Sedgwick County bench in 2002 and currently serves as a trial judge in the civil department.
The Washburn University law grad also previously served as a State Representative.
