Texas Man Charged For Alleged Child Sex Acts At Fort Riley

TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW) -- A Texas man faces federal charges for alleged sexual acts involving a minor while he was at Fort Riley.

James Duke was charged with three counts of aggravated abuse of a child, two counts of sexual abuse of a minor, two counts of sexual exploitation of a minor, and a lone count of transporting child porn across state lines.

The crimes allegedly occurred between January 1997 to December 2000.

If convicted, Duke faces life in prison and a $2 million fine.
