Kansas Teen, Mom Charged With Murdering His Adoptive Parents

WICHITA, Kan. (KAKE) -- Four people charged in the shooting of a Valley Center area couple have been charged with murder.

Melissa and Rodger Bluml were shot at their home November 15th. Melissa Bluml died later from her wounds.

Tony Bluml, the couple's adopted son, is one of the people arrested in the case. Also arrested were Kisha Schaberg, Tony Bluml's biological mother, along with Andrew Ellington and Braden Smith.

On Monday, each was charged with first degree murder, attempted first degree murder, burglary, theft and two counts of aggravated robbery.

Schaberg is being held on $1 million bond. The bond for Bluml, Ellington and Smith is $500,000 each.

They're set to be back in court on December 10.
