TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW)-- A teen driver escaped with minor injuries when her car overturned Friday.
Crews responded to a rollover accident just before noon hour along I-70 near the Carlson Road Exit.
The Kansas Highway Patrol says 19-year-old Jessica Bruning of Olathe was eastbound when she crossed through the median and rolled in the north ditch.
Troopers on the scene say wind may have played a role in the accident.
Bruning was wearing her seatbelt. She was taken to the hospital to be checked out for possible minor injuries.
Traffic in the westbound lanes was slowed for a short time while crews cleared up the wreck.
