TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW) -- A wall on display at Forbes Field is proving to heal not only hearts, but also old wounds for a generation of men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice.
A man who calls himself "Little Dog" sent the sounds "Taps" across the grounds of the Kansas National Guard Museum where the Vietnam Traveling Wall is on display.
The Wall is an 80%-scaled version of the Vietnam Memorial Wall in Washington.
"Little Dog" travels state to state with the wall. He says he does it not only for the men and women listed there, but for the millions who lost their lives once the returned home.
The Traveling Wall will be open around the clock through 3:00 p.m. on Sunday.
