Police Searching For Armed Robbery Suspect

TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW) - Topeka Police are searching for a man who held up a Topeka business at gunpoint Monday evening.

Officers were called just after 5 pm to the CD Tradepost at 1707 SE 29th St. Lt. Ron Gish says the suspect walked into the store, showed a gun and demanded money. Once employees handed over some cash, he ran off. Gish says the suspect was last seen on the west side of the building headed south.

The suspect is described as a man with olive skin, 6 feet tall weighing 130 lbs with faint facial hair. He was wearing a red "KC" hat, red shirt, long black denim shorts and a diamond earring in each ear. He also possibly had "23" tattooed on his left leg.
