TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW)__ The Kansas Expocentre saw the last day of the Monster Buck Classic Sunday (1/26).
The three day event that was centered around the monster bucks of Kansas saw lots of foot traffic this year.
They had everything from hunting blinds to hunting apparel, to bows and calls. If you needed anything for an upcoming hunting trip or just needed new arrows for practice, this event was the place to stock up.
"We've had a great crowd. Don't know numbers yet but I feel like we're probably where we were at last year or better. We had a little competition with the Outdoor Show going on in Kansas City and a few other things. So overall I feel like our crowds are steady if not increased." Stated Monster Buck Classic Founder and CEO Brian Smith.
Still holding on to the title of King of Kansas in the Typical division is Don Parr with 194 and 6/8". Cade Hayes stole the Non-Typical title from former king Lucas Cochren who had 238 and 4/8".
