TARC's Winter Wonderland Celebration Was A Big Success

TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW)-- Shawnee County Commissioners received some great news today concerning TARC's Winter Wonderland Celebration.

TARC said they raised more than $145,000 from their Winter Wonderland Celebration. Making it the second largest season ever.

11,700 cars went through the holiday light display at Lake Shawnee...
along with more than 120 buses and limos.

The money raised by TARC will help children with intellectual disabilities.

Commissioners also were presented an award by TARC for all of their great service to the program.
