Suspect In Tennessee Robbery Caught In Topeka

TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW-TV) A man wanted in connection to an armed robbery in Tennessee has been captured in Topeka.

James Cramin Meacham, III, 39, was taken into custody Wednesday afternoon by the Topeka Police Department.

Meacham was wanted in connection to an armed robbery at a Dollar General in Blount County Tennessee. The robbery occurred December 22, 2013.

The Blout County Sheriff's Department received information that Meacham fled to Topeka after the robbery, then notified TPD.

The Topeka Police Department then located Meacham, who was arrested without incident.
