Stuff The Bus Benefits Project Topeka

TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW)-Capitol city residents came out today to Stuff the Bus!

The Topeka Metropolitan transit authority along with the amalgamated transit union 13-60 came to Stuff the Bus.

It was an effort to collect non-perishable food donations that benefit Project Topeka.

Volunteers from Topeka Metro and Amalgamated Transit Union were on hand to accept donations and load them on the Topeka Metro bus Saturday.

The Topeka Roadrunner's mascot, Reggie, was on hand to assist with the Stuff the Bus donations.

Project Topeka's goal is to fill the food banks and eliminate hunger in the community.
