TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW) - Local schools are fighting back against bullies.

Randolph Elementary students were signing the praises of standing up to bullies at an assembly Friday morning. It was part of the school's Bullying Awareness Week.

The school's counselor and classroom teachers addressed the topic throughout the week. At the assembly, students performed a skit they wrote themselves addressing how to handle bullying situations.
