TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW) - Some of Kansas' best and brightest college students came to the Statehouse on Thursday.

The Capitol Graduate Research Summit drew the brightest minds from KU, KU Med, Wichita State, K-State and more. Their goal was to show legislators how research can have a positive impact on the state of Kansas and the economy.

Many of these students represented are among the top researchers in their schools.
