Rain heavy at times will move across northeast Kansas this afternoon and tonight that could lead to flooding. Severe storms are also possible through this evening with 60 mph wind gusts and hail up to the size of quarters.
TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW) -- At 9:30 Saturday night, officers from the Topeka Police Department were dispatched to a report of a stabbing at 3401 NE Seward.
Upon arrival, the officers found out that there had been a dispute between a male and a female. During the incident, the male had been stabbed.
The female is currently being held in custody for charges that include Battery to LEO. She physically assaulted a TPD Sergeant who was dispatched to the scene.
The male was transported to Stormont-Vail Hospital for a stab wound to the abdomen. His condition is stable at this time.
