Six Week Road Project Will Detour Manhattan Drivers

MANHATTAN, Kan. -(WIBW) A six week road project will detour Manhattan drivers beginning Sunday night.

Night closures of Kimball Avenue from North Manhattan Avenue to Tuttle Creek Boulevard will take effect from 10 pm to 7 am beginning Sunday evening and continuing for 6 weeks during the work week.

Alternate routes for eastbound traffic include Dension Avenue to Marlatt Avenue or Denison Avenue to Anderson Avenue.

Westbound traffic motorists should use Marlatt Avenue and then take the necessary streets such as Denison or College Avenue South to reach their destinations.

Street crews will be repairing the failing concrete joints between the panels along Kimball Avenue
