Six Injured In Kansas Head-On Collision

WICHITA, Kan. (AP) — Police say six people have been hospitalized after a head-on collision in southwest Wichita.

Sgt. Jesse Boomer says the accident happened Tuesday night. He says a southbound SUV struck a northbound car that attempted to make a left-hand turn at an intersection.

KWCH-TV reports one person was hospitalized with critical injuries. Two suffered serious injuries and three others were treated for minor injuries.

Their ages and names haven't been released.

Boomer says authorities believe a third vehicle might have been involved based on witness statements.
