(WIBW) The Shawnee Co. Sheriff's says the man who prompted a brief Silver Alert Tuesday night was found safe.

Family members became concerned when 86-year-old Robert Bach didn't arrive at a family's house as scheduled. They say he suffers from dementia.

The Shawnee Co. Sheriff's Office says Bach had become disoriented. He was located in the town of Soldier, northwest of Holton in Jackson Co. He was unharmed.
