TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW) -- Continued efforts are happening in the capital city to make sure you aren't a victim of identity theft.
Jayhawk File Express and Fidelity State Bank on 21st Street teamed up with trucks and garbage bins for a shredding event.
Many people pulled up and unloaded their personal documents.
Jayhawk File Express takes any documents and shreds them safely at the events - and it's free.
The company has been hosting free shredding days in Topeka for about six months.
