Shooting Sends One To Hospital, Suspect At Large

TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW) - A domestic dispute sent one person to the hospital, and the suspect is still on the run.

Topeka Police were called to a shooting near 13th and Harrison shortly after 6:00 p.m.

Police say they located a 26 year old male suffering from a non-life threatening gun shot wound. He was transported to the hospital in a private vehicle.

A home with multiple individuals inside was also struck by gunfire.

Police are currently looking for Jamie Lee Roberts -- a person of interest.

He's described as a 31-year-old black male about 5' 8", weighing 170 pounds with black hair and brown eyes.

He was last seen driving a blue ford expedition.

Officials ask that if you see Roberts, do not approach
him but call police immediately.

Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 234-0007.

Officials are still looking for the suspect, they do not have a description at this time.
