ROSSVILLE (From 13 News) --The Shawnee County Parks and Recreation Advisory Board continues its listening tour of the county this weekend.
The board is the result of the merger of the the Topeka and Shawnee County Parks And Recreation Departments on January 1st.
Around a dozen people turned out for Wednesday's stop in Rossville City Hall to give their feedback.
Their concerns included the gardens and the park's shelter houses, as well as a new deck and passes for their community's swimming pool.
The board has two stops on Saturday, beginning at 11:00am at Central Park Community Center and 1:00 Saturday afternoon, at Hillcrest Community Center.
