Topeka, Kan. (WIBW) - The Shawnee County Sheriff's Office responded to a call Saturday morning on a report of an unresponsive infant.
AMR, Soldier Fire Departhment and Shawnee County Deputies responded to 2928 NE Happy Hollow Road around 3:10 a.m.
The infant was transported to St. Francis Hospital where she was later pronounced dead.
She has been identified at 1-month-old Cali N. Savard.
The preliminary investigation indicates that the infant’s death was not suspicious in nature.
The Shawnee County Sheriff's Office and the Shawnee County Coroner's office are investigating the incident.
