TOPEKA, Kan.(WIBW)__The Shawnee County Sheriff's conducted a sobriety check lane Friday evening from 12 am-2 am along the 4700 block of SW Topeka Blvd.
The check lane made contact with 108 vehicles and arrested two for possession of cocaine, marijuana and paraphenalia.
Warnings were issued for two tag lights, one seat belt, one registration and one tail light.
Seven officers were paid overtime for this event from a grant sponsored by the Kansas Department of Transportation.
The check lane was designed to spot intoxicated drivers.
