District Judge Larry Hendrix said Tuesday he plans to make his decision on the matter sometime next week.

Jim Bryant the father of Joshua Bryant filed the lawsuit against the city of Topeka and the state of Kansas claiming authorities failed to adequately warn boaters of the approaching danger posed by a low-water weir.
