Shawnee Co. Sheriff's Office Says Infant's Death Not Suspicious
TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW) - The Shawnee Co. Sheriff's Office says its preliminary investigation shows the death of an infant over the weekend was not suspicious.
A 911 call just after 3 am Saturday brought authorities to 2928 NE Happy Hollow Road. One-month-old Cali Savard was found unresponsive. She was taken to St. Francis Health Center, where she later died.
The Shawnee Co. Coroner's Office continues investigating what caused the child's death.
