TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW) - Several wrecks had traffic tied up in SW Topeka Tuesday afternoon.

Officials were called around 2:00 p.m. to 29th Street near Sheridan's for an accident involving a car and a motorcycle.

The woman driving the SUV told authorities that she didn't see the motorcycle in her blind spot as she changed lanes.

The motorcycle driver was taken to a local hospital with minor injuries.

Ten minutes later, a four car accident was reported on Wanamaker near the entrance to the West Ridge Plaza, just south of 21st Street.

Police say a car stopped to allow a vehicle to turn left out of the shopping center, but another car on Wanamaker didn't stop, and hit him.
