TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW-TV) A semi carrying dog food packaging ended up on it's side Tuesday morning after taking an exit too fast and closing the intersection for two hours before the trailer could be removed.
Just after 1 a.m., emergency responders were called to K-4 and Highway 24 on the report of a semi off the road.
A Shawnee County Sheriff's Deputy told 13 News the driver took the ramp coming onto Highway 24 too fast when the truck and trailer ended up on it's side.
Inside the container were aluminum cans for dog food. The female driver, identified as Earnastine S. Wilson, 34 of Topeka, was wearing a seatbelt and was not injured.
